AARON MANDELMANN

​

Bass player and composer from Simrishamn, Sweden. Also a member of groups such as the grammy nominated septet Megalodon Collective, Iris Trio, We Are and Aaron Mandelmann quintet among others. He has toured extensively in the whole of Europe and Scandinavia on the scene for contemporary jazz for many years and has, among other achievements, been announced the winner of Jazzintro, been nominated for Norways “young jazz musician of the year” in 2016 and received the city of Malmös’ cultural scholarship for artistic development in 2019.

ALICE HERNQVIST

​

Pianist and composer from Lund, Sweden. Also a member of projects such as Cassius Lambert, Emil Bishara, Lubbe Trio, Alice Hernqvist quartet and many more. She is frequently playing on the national scene for contemporary jazz and has toured and played at clubs and festivals in Norway, Germany, Israel, Italy and Poland and has been awarded scholarships and prizes from Rotary, Lions, Jubelfonden and Lund University.

MARIO OCHOA

​

Drummer and composer from Tranemo, Sweden. Mario is an active artist on the scene for modern jazz as well as other performative arts as a composer and project leader. He also works with groups such as the award winning trio Curly Camel, Josgrejen, Superheavy and the performing arts collective 11th House Collective. His projects have taken him to places like Australia, South Africa, Turkey as well as all around Europe and Scandinavia and he has received awards such as the Kultur i Väst Jazzaward in 2012, Young Nordic Jazzcomets - jazz group of the year in 2012, Jubelfonden among others.
